TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. – Custom upholstery manufacturer Taylor King has named Michael Bingham as its new chief financial officer. He fills a role previously held by Spencer Thompson, who has retired having served as CFO for several years.
Bingham has nearly 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and management. His background includes serving as a tax manager in a public accounting firm and holding key leadership roles, such as assistant controller and controller, in prior positions. Most recently, he was an assistant controller at Bernhardt Furniture for the last seven years. He also a Master of Science in Accounting and is a licensed CPA in the state of North Carolina.

Bingham also is pleased to join the company.

Outside of his professional life, Bingham is actively involved in his community as a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. He is also passionate about motocross and enjoys cycling. Bingham lives in Connelly Springs, NC, with his wife, Stormi, and their two children, Ridge and Merci.
Bingham officially began his role as CFO on Monday, October 14.
