HIGH POINT — Luxury case goods and upholstery resource Fairfield is undertaking a two-phase expansion of its showroom here, a portion of which will open in time for the upcoming October High Point Market.
The company is adding about 7,000 square feet to its current showroom in Suite 100 of 200 N. Hamilton, bringing the total to about 20,000 square feet.
The company said that the expansion supports its immediate and long-term growth objectives, “providing customers with a more elevated and in-depth showroom experience,” while presenting a greater selection of its whole home collections featuring bedroom, living room and dining room furniture. The space also will feature a newly expanded design center with natural lighting to “create a more user-friendly experience.”
There also will be an updated hospitality area designed to host industry panels, events and other gatherings at market. The space also includes a bar, food stations and a lounge area.
The company said the first phase of the expansion will be completed for the October Market, with a grand opening planned for 1 p.m. Oct. 24. A grand opening for the completed expansion will be held at the April 2025 High Point Market.
“This expansion is a strategic investment in Fairfield’s future, strengthening our ability to stay competitive in a constantly evolving market,” said Dixon Mitchell, chief executive officer of Fairfield. “Our ongoing growth reflects the company’s solid foundation and steadfast commitment to long-term, sustainable success.”
