Mathis Home launches Trisha Yearwood Home collection

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Trisha Yearwood Home Collection, a branded collection with Legacy Classic Furniture, launched at Mathis Home stores this past week. This marks the first time Mathis Home has carried the Trisha Yearwood Home products. To kick off the important milestone, Mathis Home had a special event on Thursday, September 12 at their flagship store in Oklahoma City. Trisha visited the store and did a personal meet and greet with customers, discussing her love of everything home, signing cookbooks and taking photos to help promote the launch.

Trisha commented, “My 14 years living in Oklahoma was a magical time. It’s where I got married, became bonus mom to three beautiful girls, and made some of the best friends I’ll ever have. Mathis Brothers (now Mathis Home) was THE place to shop! It makes me so happy to now have my furniture line available in this wonderful store I know so well.”

“The atmosphere was so upbeat and fun at the Trisha Yearwood Home Launch Party.”  Stated Becky Page, Mathis Home, Oklahoma City Store Manager, “Not only was the product diversified in style with so much to offer, but meeting Trisha Yearwood and how she has a hand in designing each collection, was so refreshing.”  Becky continued, “Mathis Home & Legacy being partners on this is such a home run. What a great night.”

Over 150 customers joined the launch party and received Trisha Yearwood gift bags with a copy of her best-selling cookbook, Trisha’s Kitchen. Attendees enjoyed food and beverages based on some of Trisha’s own recipes. And to add more excitement to the evening, Mathis had several door prizes for attendees, including a Poster Bed from Trisha’s Today’s Traditions collection.

Trisha is engaged with her furniture line and loves to meet, interact and support her retailers. Special events, such as the Mathis launch of Trisha Yearwood Home, are an asset and differentiator at retail and helps to excite customers.”

The kick-off event was very encouraging. The customers who attended are right in our target demographic and their reaction to the product has been very positive. While some celebrity endorsed products don’t really add meaningful value to the customer, we think that Trisha is a great match for Legacy and for our customers.”
