Description: The Director of Quality Assurance will lead the Quality Assurance (QA) department, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is crucial for maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction. The Director of QA will develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance strategies and processes, and work closely with Merchandising, Compliance, Sourcing, Distribution, and other departments to ensure consistent product quality.
This is an on-site position, with preferred location being our Distribution Center in Taftville, CT. We are also open to the right person being located in our DC in Aberdeen, MD instead. This position will require occasional domestic and international travel to supplier sites, manufacturing facilities, trade shows and Bob’s DC’s
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in the furniture retail industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
