Description: The Market Showroom Interior Designer is responsible for the look of the Ashley Furniture showroom per division: space planning, furniture layout, and construction. This position is responsible for determining the product to be ordered, transfers, tracking, and physical setup of the showroom. Each division will periodically undergo construction requiring drawings, bids, and working with contractors. The designer will be responsible for all wall finishes ranging from faux finishes, paint, and wallpaper, as well as flooring changes. Each designer works with the divisional Vice Presidents to develop floor plans for the upcoming markets and with the Director of Market Showrooms to achieve the final presentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years in an Interior Design-related field (required), preferably retail.
- 1.5+ years minimum of relevant work experience in paid social advertising.
- Experience in Showroom Design, Space Planning, Floor Planning, or Interior Design
