Furniture of America unveils new made-in-Italy upholstery for October High Point Market

HIGH POINT — Furniture of America is bringing a new line of style and luxury to its showroom this fall.

First introduced in Las Vegas this summer to West Coast dealers, FOA will be showing its newest upholstery collections this month in High Point. An exciting addition to its product catalog is an exclusive, top grain Italian leather seating groups that are made in Italy.

The Opulenza Signature Collection features five groups with sleek, modern designs in both transitional and contemporary looks.

Handcrafted by skilled craftsmen in Italy, the line brings affordable Italian luxury in both stationery and power motion sofas and loveseats. The groups retail starting at $5,999 for a sofa and loveseat with 100% coverage, no match, in Italian top grain leather with power motion.

This is the Verdal upholstery group by Furniture of America.

Also brand new to the FOA upholstery line is an exclusive chenille boucle fabric with subtle, metallic undertones. The proprietary fabric covers 4 different contemporary styled frames in 3 color options: off white, charcoal gray and black.

The frames are kiln dried hardwood, corner blocked, nailed and glued. They feature no sag sinuous spring, 8-gauge steel, webbing back frame with foam and sinuous spring in 11-gauge steel. All the seating feature high density foam and pocketed coils for superior support and comfort.

Among the four styles to choose from, the Versoix is a compact, kidney shaped single cushion sofa and loveseat with curved arms, barely there wooden legs and provides ultra-comfort in a variety of décor settings.

The Elverum is a contemporary bench style seating with loose pillow back, track arms with welt trim. Like the others, it is available in the off white, charcoal gray and black colors in the exclusive fabric.

The Aversa is also a contemporary set with retro vibes. It features chic, vertical channel tufting that covers the single seat and back. Stuffed arms and cushioning wrap the whole piece.

Verdal is a tuxedo-inspired contemporary design with a box seat cushion, welt trim, high density foam with pocketed coils and wooden legs. All four of the groups retail starting at $1,999 for a sofa and love seat.
