UltraComfort names Mike Robertson national sales manager

OLD FORGE, Penn. – Lift chair and power recliner resource UltraComfort has hired Mike Robertson as national sales manager.

Robertson fills a position formerly held by Rik Talley, who recently retired after serving in the role since 2017.

He has been in the industry for nearly 40 years and comes to the company from Southern Motion, where he was most recently regional vice president, sales, for the Eastern Region for the past four and a half years.

Before that, he was vice president, sales for Jackson Furniture and before that worked at Klaussner Furniture for more than 20 years in a variety of roles including regional vice president, sales for the Southeast and previously as senior sales representative.

Previously, he held a variety of roles at Robertson Home Furnishings, including general manager, general merchandise manager and sales manager for a nine-year period starting in 1985.

UltraComfort said his experience working closely with major retail accounts contributed to “significant sales growth by focusing on effective sales training as well as strong customer service and in-depth product knowledge. In addition he has extensive experience with the lift chair and power recliner categories, helping many retailers grow their motion sales.”

He reports to Dave Danhof, vice president, sales.
