Description: As the Director of Global Supply Chain & Sustainability, you will be responsible for developing a supply strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy. This will involve leading supplier sustainability and compliance capability efforts, as well as coordinating purchases of like-items across the business unit.
In addition, you will be responsible for sourcing and qualifying vendors for these purchases, negotiating the best possible cost and quality for the sourced items, and managing raw material inventory days of inventory (DIO) in collaboration with the operations team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred – a degree majoring in Supply Chain Management is also valued.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or vendor management, with a demonstrated progression of responsibility.
- Previous experience in multi-site and/or large-scale manufacturing environments is preferred.
- A deep understanding of stage-gate project management is essential.
