|LENOIR, N.C. — October 5, 2022 — With the fall 2022 High Point Market right around the corner, market attendees can look to Fairfield for an exciting event lineup via its new program Fairfield Collective.
Fairfield Collective will allow the more than 100-year-old company to showcase and celebrate its artisan crafted furniture with a series of informative panels and events, collaborating with industry professionals to promote education and engagement. Fairfield invites retailers, designers, and editors to tour its showroom, learn more about its high-quality case goods and upholstery, and take part in scheduled events during the 2022 High Point Furniture Market, October 22-26th.

Saturday, October 22nd at 11am | Designer Panel: Designing Airbnb SpacesAirbnb ventures are quickly becoming a mainstream business endeavor for many, and hosts are quickly realizing that the key to their Airbnb’s success is in its design. Listen in to interior design professionals Brian and Alyssa Foushee of The Southern Host, partners Beth Dotolo and Carolina Gentry of Pulp Design Studios, and Melissa Lee of New South Home, as they delve into their vast experience designing Airbnb properties, discussing their approach to design and unique creative processes. Drawing on specific past project challenges, triumphs, and exciting listings, these panelists are sure to inspire every designer to branch into the luxury vacation rental sector of the industry.
|Saturday, October 22nd at 3 pm | Chair Construction Event: Chairfield by Fairfield Come watch a Fairfield craftsman construct one of its stunning chairs from the Libby Langdon for Fairfield Collection and upholster it in the ivory Sustain Performance Fabric®! Emceed by Dixon Mitchell, CEO of Fairfield, and Libby Langdon of Libby Langdon Interiors, this interactive experience will highlight a Fairfield chair built from start to finish and fun facts about the team’s attention to detail and design inspiration. Fairfield’s Director of Product Development, Richard McSwain, will be onsite to answer questions and beverage sponsor Sustain Performance Fabric® is providing refreshments, giveaways, and fabric demos during the event! Attendees will receive the chance of taking the beautiful piece home at the end. Following the chair construction event, there will be a meet and greet with Libby Langdon to discuss her collection with Fairfield.
|Sunday, October 23rd at 4pm | Designer Panel + BD Collection for Fairfield Cocktail Hour: MultiVerticals – Delving Into The Four Sectors of DesignHosted by Fairfield, hear from four professionals, each representing a sector of the interior design industry – Christopher Todd of Christopher Todd Design for residential, Melissa Banko of Banko Design for multifamily and senior living, and Laura Bischofberger of J. Banks Design Group for commercial hospitality. Moderated by Libby Langdon of Libby Langdon Interiors, discover the overlaps, the differences, and the balance between the four and what each sector brings to the table. Learn about the specific growth opportunities, challenges, and hear advice for each sector. Enjoy a cocktail hour featuring a signature BDxF Oxblood cocktail during the event!
