Description: The Senior Director – Development will report to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and work closely with the CIO and other senior IT leaders. They will have the opportunity to engage with management at the highest business and IT levels on IT strategy.
This person will be responsible for providing application development components and teams required to successfully fulfill and evolve the vision. Their contributions will have a direct impact on the business by leading an instrumental, strategic initiative and partnering with cross-functional work groups on key Business Process Transformations (BPT); all while “keeping the lights on” with our current applications. The high-performing team they will be working with will partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure practices, policies and plans are pragmatic, maintain optimal performance, and are cost effective.
To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or related field, or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training
- 7+ years of experience with emphasis on enterprise application development
- Knowledge of application, data, and network architectures
- Knowledge of development platforms, enterprise solutions, and manufacturing processes
