Job Title: Training and Development Manager
Location: Syracuse, Indiana
Description: In this newly created position, the Training and Development Manager will create, maintain and sustain training programs and Certification Processes for the company. The person in this role assesses company-wide needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees/departments. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.
The person in this role will work with department leaders to obtain and/or develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media, all while leveraging POLYWOOD’s Learning Management System (LMS). They will also be responsible for creating curricula and determining the best methods of delivering training. Assess make vs. buy options and present recommendations to HR and operating management. Preview external training providers and internally developed programs for quality.
- 3-5 years of related experience in training and development; degree preferred
- Knowledgeable in creating training in learning management systems (LMS) in various file types including SCORM format.
