Global furniture brand Andreu World opens San Francisco showroom

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. –  International leader and Award-winning Global furniture brand Andreu World unveiled its first California showroom in the city of San Francisco. Located at 85 2nd Street in the heart of the financial district, the store marks the brand’s fifth permanent flagship showroom in the US, joining those in Chicago, New York, Washington D.C, Boston, and Kansas City.

“Andreu World is proud to be expanding our North American operations to include a west coast location in the city of San Francisco,” states Jesus Llinares, CEO of Andreu World. “This expansion establishes our company’s investment in the North American market to offer more sustainable options to consumers and cements Andreu World’s place as a global leader within the industry.”

The opening represents Andreu World’s strategic step to strengthen the brand’s presence among North American design professionals on the West Coast. The showroom, designed internally by Andreu World, has an area of 5,000 square feet and two separate entrances. The layout is intentionally designed into different exhibitions to showcase the versatility of Andreu World’s iconic products. The showroom will present a wide range of chairs, armchairs, and stools, — including collaborator Philippe Starck’s Adela Rex and Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola’s Nuez Lounge BIO collection — including a series of meeting and auxiliary tables, and a selection of versatile sofas that are shown in new workspaces within the showroom.

The San Francisco Showroom opening also introduced the latest designs by Andreu World showcasing the newest designs with creator Philippe Starck. In keeping with Andreu World’s sustainable mission, the brand is not only the first company in the world to have a complete 100% FSC certification, but they are also fully committed to achieving 100% of materials and processes and all their catalogs into the circular economy before 2025. All wood products and materials produced by Andreu World are fully sustainable and recyclable.  Adela Rex, designed by French designer Philippe Starckdemonstrates sustainability through its use of slow-grown, FSC-certified wood from reforested forests that have been reforested within the chain of custody from the forest to the final product. The brand prioritizes social responsibility and care for the environment and aims as an organization to continue improving the quality of life for our environment.

In essence, the San Francisco showroom displays a passion for design, and love for details and highlights the craftsmanship and technical mastery that the brand is known for. The inspiration for the interior design of the space stems from Andreu World’s use of natural wood – which is in the brand’s genes since its origins – and is seen in the space through the layout and in the new indoor and outdoor furniture collections that are presented for different uses: office, corporate, restaurants and hotels, educational, outdoor terrace areas and homes.

The new San Francisco showroom will also serve the architecture and interior design communities with resources on the brand and products, offering a selection of innovative finishes, textures, colors, fabrics, and innovative materials to be able to work on projects globally. The goal of the San Francisco location is to be a meeting point for architects, interior designers, and design lovers on the West Coast. Andreu World’s San Francisco location is the company’s point of reference for its West Coast division as a complete space that showcases the brand’s products and services.
