Precision Textiles acquires 100,000 square-foot warehouse in North Carolina

STAR, N.C. – Precision Textiles, a fabric supplier to the bedding and furniture industries, has acquired a 100,000-square-foot warehouse here that it will use to support its nearby manufacturing facility in Troy, N.C.

The Troy plant, about 10 miles away from the warehouse, began operations in late 2021, making it the company’s first domestic manufacturing facility outside its Totowa, N.J. headquarters. The company’s operations have added about 100 jobs to the area and nearly doubled its needle-punch nonwovens production and fiber output.

The new warehouse will bring the company’s manufacturing and distribution footprint in the area to about 260,000 square feet.

“North Carolina has become an increasingly important hub for us to more efficiently and effectively serve our sleep products customers in the region,” said Scott Tesser, CEO of Precision Textiles. “Working in tandem with our Troy facility, the new location allows us the ability to inventory more than enough product to meet our customers’ needs.”
