Handicraft & Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City hosts online trading event April 13-20

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – The Handicraft & Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City is hosting Vietnam Furniture Matching Week from April 13-20 as part of an effort to connect Vietnamese manufacturers with buyers around the world.

HAWA is organizing the event in collaboration with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, offering a mix of online and onsite activities to promote trade opportunities.

The online event will feature more than 100 Vietnamese manufacturers participating in an online exhibition through the platform www.hopefairs.com. In addition to 360-degree showroom presentations, there will be a companion site that shows the available capacity from each manufacturer. Buyers also can book and conduct appointments online using any type of device.  

In addition to online B2B matching opportunities, the online event also will feature a market intelligence hub on key export markets such as the U.S., Europe, Australia and the Middle East to name several. In addition, international experts and Vietnam manufacturers will present a series of broadcasts regarding the Vietnam market.

The onsite event will take place April 13-14 in Ho Chi Minh City and is expected to attract some 500 manufacturers looking to do business in export and domestic markets.
