Description: The Senior Director, Interior Design and Trade is the senior commercial leader responsible for the strategy, management and profitable growth of Hooker Furnishings’ Interior Design and Trade channel. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this position will operate as the channel’s business owner—setting strategy, aligning resources, strengthening the customer proposition and driving execution across sales, marketing, customer service, digital, product, supply chain and finance. The Senior Director will build a scalable growth engine that acquires, activates, develops and retains professional design accounts while improving the ease, reliability and value of doing business with Hooker Furnishings.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of progressive commercial leadership in home furnishings, interior design, luxury or premium consumer products, trade distribution, B2B sales or a closely related field.
- Five or more years leading complex cross-functional growth initiatives.
- Demonstrated success building or accelerating a business channel, customer segment or go-to-market model.
- Strong understanding of the professional interior design ecosystem, including how designers discover, specify, quote, purchase and manage products for client projects.
