Company said it will show its line at the October High Point Market and that it also has hired reps to cover several key territories
HIGH POINT — Furniture resource Hamilton Spill is making progress toward its relaunch, with a series of developments ranging from the hiring of a new sales force to new product innovations meant to enhance its prospects on retail floors.
The company announced last fall that it was relaunching the brand after many years of being dormant in the U.S. market.

Product development continues across categories ranging from bedroom to living room furniture with several prototypes being touted on LinkedIn over the past several months. These range from chairs, sofas and sectionals with quality fabrics and tailoring to nightstands with interior lighting that’s activated when the drawers are opened.
Products are expected to launch at the October High Point Market across several categories including bedroom, dining and living room furniture, all targeted to sell at middle to upper price points.
The company also has hired about 10 sales reps, or about half the planned sales force.
“We’re closing in on 10 sales professionals across the U.S. and are on track to launch with approximately 20 representatives,” Vice President Phillip Siler told Home News Now, adding that the company is currently focusing on North America but will expand soon with sales teams in Europe and Asia markets.
“ Our focus is on building a global sales organization that reflects the values of the Hamilton Spill brand and provides outstanding support to our retail partners.”
Recent hires on its sales team include territory managers Jason Pike and Barbara Burroughs, along with Arthur Bingham and John Atkins, Siler noted. Pike is covering Texas and Oklahoma; Burroughs will cover Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado; Bingham will cover North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland; and Atkins will cover Florida.
“We are pleased that Jason, Barbara, Arthur and John have joined our team,” Siler said. “They bring professionalism, a respectful approach toward our retail partners, and a clear commitment to RSA training.”
Siler also noted that members of the sales and executive team will gather for the company’s National Sales Meeting in El Paso in November.
“Our expanding sales organization, leadership team and key partners will come together for several days of product immersion, sales training, strategic planning and a look at our upcoming collections,” he said. “It will be an important opportunity to align the team as we prepare for our retail launch.”
“We’re excited about the momentum we’re seeing and look forward to introducing our collections to retailers in the months ahead.”
