Upholstery manufacturer also is expanding its quick-ship program with 7 new groups
HIDDENITE, N.C. — Upholstery manufacturer Craftmaster Furniture is expanding its Design Options program this April High Point Market with various new leather and finish options aimed at enhancing its mix of custom offerings for retailers and designers alike.
The company is adding various enhancements to its transitional fabric M Series, its modern fabric F Series and its traditional fabric C Series.
In the M series, it is adding 50 leather options referred to as LM9, all at the same price. Previously leather was not available in the M Series.
In addition, the company is offering a blend down cushion option to the series, “allowing designers and consumers to tailor seating to their functional needs.” Unique to the series is a build-your-own ottoman program.

The F Series is adding a larger-scale sofa to the mix as well as 18 finish options at no upcharge for the frames in the series. The series was previously available in only one finish, the company said. As with the M Series, it also is adding a blend down cushion option.
“This offers greater control over the final look and feel of the collection,” the company said, noting that the series is also currently available in leather and “offers motion functionality blending comfort and innovation.”
In the C Series, the company is adding several stitching options and a new arm design that is available with or without nail-head trim, “delivering refined detailing and fresh silhouettes that enhance its already versatile offering.” Shallow-depth seating and leather also continue to be available in the series.
Each series offers a mix of frames including sofas, sectionals, loveseats, chairs and coordinating ottomans along with swivel chairs and sleepers.
“These enhancements are all about making our Design Options programs work better together,” said Alex Reeves, president. “By aligning materials, features and customization capabilities across the collections, we’re giving the retail salespeople a more seamless way to create.”
In addition, the company is expanding its quick-ship program to include seven new groups. The program already includes 21 bestsellers, and with the additions across key collections, it will include eight Design Options groups, two leather groups, 18 Essentials groups, one CM Modern group and one Paula Deen group.
Groups in the quick-ship program that are in stock ship within five days, the company told Home News Now.
At market, the expanded Design Options program and other new products can be seen at the Craftmaster showroom at 2622 Uwharrie Road in High Point.
