HIGH POINT — At last week’s premarket, Home News Now spent a few days meeting with various industry case goods and upholstery resources to catch a glimpse of what to expect for the October High Point Market. As usual, it was a full schedule of showroom visits where we took in hundreds if not thousands of new bedroom, dining, occasional and upholstery pieces, some of which are setting design trends for the industry. From smaller bedroom groups to larger whole-home collections, the mix was a sneak preview of what to expect on retail floors in early 2025 and beyond. While contemporary and soft modern trends were among the most prevalent, there also was a return to more traditional forms including early American and Arts and Crafts-inspired pieces with updated finishes and fabrics. Below are some of the products that caught our eye during the event.
