MT ARLINGTON, N.J. — Kornerstone Credit and retail systems company Storis have partnered to help home furnishings retailers provide lease-to-own options to customers at the point of sale.
Kornerstone Credit is certified as a lease-to-own lender and integrates to Storis’ Finance Queue. Their “no credit needed” program expands consumer accessibility to furniture, bedding, and appliances, according to Storis.
The top home furnishings retailers in North America utilize (Storis’) state-of-the-art system and we look forward to offering our program to mutual retail partners,” Clint Cowley, chief revenue officer for Kornerstone said in a release.
Kornerstone said its mission is “to have the most affordable lease-to-own experience, driven by happy people and awesome tech.” Its lease-to-own program helps customers acquire home furnishings without needing a credit score. Its lease-to-own program offers instant approvals and the option to buy-out over 90 days or to obtain ownership through a monthly lease payment.
“By partnering with Kornerstone Credit, we now offer more non-credit purchase choices to retailers utilizing our Finance Queue,” said Marybeth Feeney, Storis’ director of application development. “Having a multitude of payment options available to those who are in various economic situations due to the current climate will help more customers access the home furnishings they need.”
The Finance Queue manages all touchpoints with finance providers including application, approval, authorization, settlement, and account reconciliation from its POS solution. A single credit application can be submitted against the retailer’s available options for primary, secondary, and tertiary lenders with the customer’s approval.
