ISFD announces last call for Pinnacle Awards entries

Deadline for submissions extended to Aug. 6

HIGH POINT — Great design deserves to be recognized — especially during a milestone year. To give designers and manufacturers additional time to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship, the International Society of Furniture Designers has extended the entry deadline for its 30th Anniversary Pinnacle Awards to Aug. 6. The extension provides professional and student product designers in the furnishings and textile industries with one final opportunity to submit their best work for one of the industry’s most respected design competitions.

The 30th annual Pinnacle Awards are open to all furniture and textile designers and manufacturers who were directly involved in designing home furnishings, décor or textile products available for retail sale within the past year. Students currently enrolled in or who graduated within the past year from an accredited furniture or industrial design program may enter the Student Pinnacle Awards. Winners will be announced at the annual Pinnacle Awards Gala, held in High Point on Monday, Oct. 19, during the fall market. There will be no further extensions for submissions.

“Whether you’re an independent designer, part of a product development team or a manufacturer with an exceptional new collection, there’s still time to enter the 2026 Pinnacle Awards,” said David Blair, ISFD executive director. “The Pinnacle Awards have always been about more than recognizing exceptional work. They celebrate the ideas that inspire our industry to think differently. Every entry reflects a designer’s unique perspective, and together these ideas showcase the creativity and innovation that continue to move our industry forward. By extending the deadline, we’re opening the door for even more creative voices to be part of that conversation.”

The 30th Anniversary Pinnacle Awards are made possible through the commitment of industry sponsors and partners who champion design excellence.

“The Pinnacle Awards continue to thrive because of the generous support of our sponsors and partners who believe in the value of exceptional design,” Blair added. “We are deeply grateful for their partnership and their investment in the designers whose ideas continue to inspire and advance our industry.”

Submission details can be found at the  2026 Pinnacle Awards and the 2026 John Conrad Student Pinnacle Awards websites. The entry deadline is 11:59 pm EST, Aug. 6.
