by CLERMONT, Fla. – On March 21, Ashley unveiled its newest Ashley showroom with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 48,000 sq. ft. facility, located at 17022 State Road 50, Clermont, Florida, marks a significant addition to the local community.
Guests, including Bill Petersen, councilman City of Clermont; Brian Bain, council Member City of Clermont; David Ezell, Clermont fire chief and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce including David Colby, president and chief executive officer, joined Ashley employees in celebrating this milestone. Guests were treated to refreshments from local vendors, in store giveaways and special promotions to commemorate the opening.
This is the 21st Ashley store to open in the state of Florida. The Clermont store will employ approximately 35 people. Ashley, the largest furniture store brand in North America and one of the world’s best-selling home furnishing brands, has more than 1,100 locations worldwide.

The new store showcases Ashley’s innovative 7.0 store concept, featuring a simplified, bright and open floor plan to enhance the shopping experience. Customers can explore complete lifestyle vignettes with detailed lighting, rugs, and wall art. Product offerings include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Customers can also experience Ashley’s new mattress gallery featuring Ashley Sleep, Nectar, and Tempur-Pedic mattresses.
The new store’s hours are Monday through Friday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Visit Ashley Clermont for more details.
