by HIGH POINT – Kuka Home North America has announced the strategic investment cooperation of Changzhou Denfeng Electric Co., Limited, a motor and component manufacturer, completing full vertical integration of its motion upholstery platform and further strengthening its leadership in functional furniture.
With the addition of Denfeng’s motor and component production capabilities to its existing K-Tron mechanism division, the company now controls the complete motion system—from steel mechanisms, motors, and electronic components to finished motion furniture.
Production of these motors and components takes place in Changzhou, China, and Vietnam, supporting KUKA HOME’s manufacturing operations in those regions. This strategic integration enhances engineering alignment, accelerates product innovation, improves quality consistency, and reinforces supply chain resilience across its motion upholstery categories.
