Arkansas Homefurnishings Association names 2 to board of directors

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Homefurnishings Association has appoionted Michael Evans of Crafton’s Furniture and Appliance in Searcy and JB Rainwater of Sofa City in Fort Smith to its board of directors.

Michael Evans, the new East District director, is a sales manager at Crafton’s Furniture and Appliance and has been a dedicated member of Crafton’s team for more than 20 years. Known for his willingness to take on any task — from sales to deliveries and everything in between — Evans brings a deep understanding of retail operations to the board. Originally from Louisiana, he is also an active member of St. Luke’s Missionary Baptist Church. Crafton’s Furniture and Appliance has been proudly serving customers throughout East Arkansas and the state since 1955.

JB Rainwater, the new district director at-large, is the support success manager at Sofa City and has been serving customers and supporting staff since 2014. Renowned for his energy and hands-on leadership, Rainwater plays an integral role in team development and customer service. He also works on the Serve Teams at New Life Church. Founded in 2014, Sofa City now operates eight stores across South Central Missouri and West Central Arkansas.
