American Furniture Warehouse provides $20K donation to Food Bank of the Rockies

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — American Furniture Warehouse is proud to support Food Bank of the Rockies through a $20,000 donation from founder and CEO Jake Jabs and a hands-on volunteer effort led by the organization at the company’s corporate offices in
Englewood.

As part of the initiative, American Furniture Warehouse employees participated in an in-house volunteer activity facilitated by Food Bank of the Rockies. Team members assembled more than 4,000 produce mesh bags and hand crafted over 100 personal cards of hope to be distributed to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the community.

“This is about helping our neighbors in a real and practical way,” Jabs said. “Food insecurity affects far too many families, and Food Bank of the Rockies does an incredible job getting resources to the people who need them most. We are proud to support their mission and grateful to our employees who stepped up to make a difference.”

Food Bank of the Rockies works with hundreds of Hunger Relief Partners across Colorado and Wyoming to distribute nutritious food to people in need. The donation and volunteer effort will help further the organization’s ability to serve communities facing food insecurity.

“Giving back is a core value at American Furniture Warehouse,” said Jessica Rose, director of public relations and gift giving. “Our partnership with Food Bank of the Rockies allows us to combine financial support with meaningful employee engagement, creating a direct impact for individuals and families in our community.”

American Furniture Warehouse remains committed to supporting local organizations that strengthen the communities it serves.
