Description: The Director of Demand Planning leads the strategic and executional direction of the Demand Planning function, overseeing the development of a 24-month rolling demand forecast within a multi-sourced supply chain. This role drives forecast accuracy, aligns inventory levels to business needs, and ensures customers receive a world-class experience.
You will own all components of consumer demand analysis, including statistical forecasting, new product introductions, lifecycle management, cannibalization, seasonality, omni-channel penetration, and forecast rationalization for leadership. This role partners closely with Merchandising, Replenishment, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Inventory Management to drive best-in-class planning practices.
This leader also manages and develops a team of Demand Planners, shaping their tactical and strategic capabilities and supporting long-term career growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a planning function, ideally retail-focused.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and data management skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and navigate change.
- Organizational skills, motivation, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
