Products seen at premarket in September

Home News Now spent several days last month in downtown High Point, where we visited a number of showrooms open for the Sept. 15-16 premarket. As always, we were on the lookout for new products across categories in an effort to learn about styles, materials and finishes that will be part of the fall market cycle. Below is a glimpse at some of the products that caught our eye, offering buyers an early preview of what to expect at the October High Point Market taking place in just a few weeks.

This channel-tufted upholstered Strata bed is part of Universal Furniture’s Mist & Veil collection, an addition to its Modern line.
The 1147 bedroom by Austin Group is made with oak veneers and rubberwood solids. A four-piece set featuring a bed, dresser, mirror and nightstand retails around $1,999.
This panel bed is part of Vaughan-Bassett Furniture’s Pure Maple collection, an extension of its solid wood Artisan & Post line and part of the latest Erin and Ben Napier licensed collection. Made with solid maple, it is shown in a Maple Syrup finish.
This upholstered bed is part of A|R|T Furniture’s Boulevard collection, which has Hollywood Regency design elements. Shown in a Navy Blue velvet, it retails at $3,500 in king.
This dining set is part of Napa Furniture’s Pacific Heights collection. Made with solid mahogany, it is shown in a dark mahogany finish.
Avalon Furniture’s 3342 bedroom is made with oak veneers and is shown in an Oyster finish.
This dining set is part of Pulaski Furniture’s Forest Manor collection, which features updated casual traditional design elements. Made with birch veneers, it also has a companion bedroom that retails at $2,999 for a bed, dresser, mirror and nightstand.
The Cambrie bedroom by Elements International has a soft modern design aesthetic including reeded surfaces on drawer fronts and a two-tone look as seen on the case pieces and on the upholstered headboard of the panel bed. A four-piece group retails at $1,999.
FD Home showed these two dining sets at premarket. Retailing around $899 for a table and four chairs, they are made with oak veneers, with the one on the left sporting a two-tone black finish and natural oak top and the one on the right in a natural oak finish.
Intercon’s Charleston bedroom features this 70-inch-tall mansion bed, which is made with oak veneers and shown in a Midnight Blue finish. It retails at $1,199.
This dining set is part of Legacy Classic | Modern’s Eschelon collection which has soft traditional Louis Philippe-inspired design elements. It is made with walnut veneers. The panel bed in the background features a headboard with a reversible panel with wood on one side and a padded upholstered surface on the other.
The Hartwell bedroom by HH2 Home has updated traditional design elements. Made with oak veneers, it retails at $2,999 for a bed, dresser, mirror and nightstand.
