by TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — Custom upholstery manufacturer Taylor King has promoted Cass Key to creative director.
She was previously sales and marketing director, a position she held since late last year.
She also was previously creative director for Woodbridge Furniture Co. and before that was an interior designer for Meg Brown Home Furnishings.
Earlier in her career, she was a director of design services for Urban Country Designs and an interior designer for Rowe Furniture.
In her new position, she reports to company President Nicole Bailey and will oversee Taylor King’s design, merchandising and product development efforts. A company spokesperson noted that the position also has been renamed and expanded upon to include oversight of more creative work such as marketing.
“Since joining Taylor King, Cass has brought fresh energy and innovative ideas that have positively impacted all areas of the business, from sales and marketing to design and product development,” the company said. “Her contributions have gone beyond her initial scope, and her passion and enthusiasm have been evident in every aspect of her work. Cass’ thorough approach to projects and communication has been vital to the success of various initiatives, and the Taylor King team is eager to see how she will continue to elevate the company’s design and merchandising efforts.”
