In his latest video interview, Home News Now Editor-at-Large Ray Allegrezza speaks with the president of Violino North America on a variety of subjects, including the company’s new factory in Vietnam. While the company has had success in China, the executive said that in an environment of possible increased tariffs on China, it wants to create product that dovetails well with what it already produces with different looks and price points and also be able to pivot quickly should circumstances occur that are outside of its control. Expected to begin production in the first quarter, the 350,000-square-foot plant will employ anywhere from 500 to 1,000 workers and produce an initial capacity of 100 to 200 containers per month with the capability to double or triple that as the need arises.
