Description: This person will provide active and positive safety-driven leadership to develop a safety-first mindset across the plant while working toward continuous EHS improvement. They will be responsible for delivering effective change leadership for all safety requirements.
In this role, you will perform risk assessments and lead the implementation of effective control measures to reduce risk. You will lead the incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and implementation of changes, and build the capability of site resources through effective employee relations, coaching, mentoring, and training.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental, Safety, Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of progressive Safety leadership in a manufacturing facility.
- Preferred Experience: Safety management in mattress manufacturing or comparable consumer goods manufacturing
