Agency said units are unstable if not anchored to the wall, posing a tip-over, entrapment risk that can harm children
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced two recalls involving 13,354 clothing storage units sold on Amazon that pose tip-over and entrapment hazards that can injure or kill children.
Neither product has been associated with any incident or injury as of the June 11 recall dates. However, the CPCS said the units are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall and can pose a danger to children as they do not meet the safety standard requirements of the STURDY Act.
The larger of the two recalls involves 10,354 Timechee changing table dresser units that were made by Fujian Xiniuniu Home Furnishing Co. Ltd. of China and sold on Amazon.com from September 2023 through May 2026 for about $190.

The recalled dressers are described as being made of wood and sold in a white finish. They also have five drawers and two shelves and a two-section changing tabletop. Each unit measures 47.2 inches long by 19.5 inches wide by 36.1 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds It was packaged in a cardboard box with “KF200066US-01XN-003” printed on the side.
Consumers have been advised to stop using the recalled units immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and to move them to an area children cannot access. To receive a full refund, consumers must dispose of the units and email a photo to TimecheeRecall@timechee.com showing themselves disposing of the product.
For additional information or instructions on how to dispose of the units, they can contact the company toll-free at 833-851-3720 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or by email at TimecheeRecall@timechee.com.
The second recall involves about 3,000 Hasuit seven-drawer chests. Made in China, they were sold on Amazon from September 2023 through May 2026 for about $160.

The agency described the units as featuring seven drawers, being made of wood and in a black finish. They measure 27.6 inches wide, 44.5 inches tall, 15.8 inches long and weigh 102 pounds. The identifying SKU, AJ-DJ502571_1, is printed on the packaging.
Consumers have been advised to immediately stop using the units if they are not anchored to the wall and move them to an area that children cannot access.
To receive a full refund, they will need to pull out all seven drawers for destruction and write on the cabinet in permanent marker the word “RECALLED.” They should also take a photo of the cabinet and drawers and then email this to hasuitrecall@outlook.com. Consumers should then dispose of the recalled product as it cannot be resold in its noncompliant condition.
Both recalls demonstrate the importance of manufacturers and retailers making sure such clothing storage units meet the requirements of the STURDY Act. By not complying with this federal regulation, the units can be involved in a tip-over or entrapment incident that can injure or kill children.
Retailers also should help educate consumers about the need to anchor such units to the wall, which helps eliminate most tip-over/entrapment risks. For more information on how to anchor chests, dressers or even changing tables and bookcase units to the wall, click here.
