HIGH POINT — Debuting at High Point Market, Hudson Valley Lighting has launched its latest designer collection in collaboration with internationally renowned interior designer Cortney Bishop, the creative visionary behind Cortney Bishop Design.

The initial collection includes 14 lighting families, each blending bohemian charm with sophistication through natural silk shades, perforated details and a scale that infuse spaces with both whimsy and elegance.
Bishop is celebrated for her sophisticated, modern and organic design style, which brings together artisan craft, organic textures and a balance of raw and refined elements. Drawing inspiration from travel, music, art and vintage finds, Bishop’s approach embraces the tension between structured and free-spirited, Old World and contemporary.

In this new lighting collection with Hudson Valley Lighting, she channels these influences to explore bold contrasts. Each fixture combines artisan materials with earthy finishes such as Heritage Bronze, Gradient Brass and Verdigris Metal that reinterpret vintage designs with a modern edge.
“I wanted this collection to feel lighthearted and artisan-driven, yet grounded in refinement and timelessness,” Bishop said. “Each piece is an invitation to play and explore design — it’s about lighting that doesn’t just illuminate a room, but transforms it.”
The family names in the collection reflect personal connections to Bishop’s life in Charleston, South Carolina, with names like Bohicket, inspired by a special piece of waterfront land where she is building her dream home.
You can view the line in person during High Point Market at the Hudson Valley Lighting showroom in the Market Square building.
