Industry veteran brings 30 years of experience to the new position
HIGH POINT — Upholstery manufacturer Kuka Home has named industry veteran Jim Anthony executive vice president of sales, a new position with the company.
He comes to Kuka Home from Southern Furniture Industries where he was most recently executive vice president of sales and marketing for divisions Southern Motion and Fusion Furniture Industries. Previously, he was with United Furniture Industries as vice president of sales and merchandising and also as national sales manager of key accounts.

Before this, he was vice president of strategic accounts for Lane and Broyhill when they were part of Heritage Home Group and before that worked at Lane Furniture Industries for 17 years in a number of roles including national account sales executive, merchandise manager, senior sales representative and director of strategic accounts.
In his new position, he reports to Matt Harrison, president of Kuka Home North America. He will lead Kuka Home’s OEM business initiatives, “leveraging his expertise across multiple wholesale and retail channels including department stores and traditional furniture retail.”
The company said he also will work closely with product development, merchandising and supply chain teams “to deliver tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of Kuka’s OEM business partners.”
“Throughout his career, Jim has been recognized for building high-performance sales teams, creating innovative upholstery programs and driving significant growth with Top 100 retailers,” the company said. “His leadership in product development, global sourcing and showroom strategy has helped shape some of the industry’s most successful go-to-market initiatives.”
Harrison said he is pleased to welcome Anthony to Kuka Home.
