Case goods manufacturer anticipates its strongest Las Vegas Market since before the pandemic
LAS VEGAS — Case goods resource Horizon Home has an aggressive product launch planned for the market here this week, featuring a new mix of Mexico-made bedrooms, entertainment consoles and a modular wall unit.
It also is introducing a 15-piece bedroom, entertainment and occasional collection called Valley Ranch which is also made in Mexico with rosewood solids and alder veneers and features craftsman-lodge and Amish design influences. While pricing was still being determined at press time, the company said the collection falls toward the upper part of its line.
“In the overall industry, it will be a value because it is built with those materials and because of the scale,” said Felipe Orozco, vice president of sales.

In addition, the company is introducing 24 entertainment consoles made with pine solids for the frames combined with parota, oak, white oak and teak veneers used on the tops, sides and fronts of the cases.
With these different wood species, Orozco said, “you can achieve a more mainstream and current look than you can with pine. You can do a lot more than you can with pine veneers.” In addition, they feature natural taupe and truffle-inspired finishes that accentuate the wood grains.
Priced to retail from $499 to $999, the units start at 60 inches wide and include 65-, 70-, 75- and 80-inch lengths and come in 28-, 32-, 36-, 38- and 40-inch heights. Entertainment units are kept to no higher than 32 inches and taller units are more of an accent piece.
The company also has a modular entertainment wall system called Studio that comes with two standalone 32-inch-wide bookend pier units with door storage and a 65-, 75- and 85-inch section in the middle that serves as a console.
Five new standalone bedrooms also are available that are targeted to retail from $1,499 to $1,999 for a bed, dresser, mirror and chest. Design influences range from Southern traditional and western to transitional and coastal.
In addition, the company is expanding its onyx accent and occasional table program with several new side tables and cubes made with solid onyx and marble that retail from $199 to $249.
With a strong mix of new and inline product along with strong anticipated attendance, Orozco believes it will be an extremely positive market.
“Based on the appointment list, it sounds like it will be good,” he said. “We have more appointments lined up since pre-pandemic and more commitments that they are coming to see us at market.”
The company shows in Space B-106 of the World Market Center.
