Made Goods opens showroom in NYDC

Space showcases major wood and upholstery categories in its line along with a display of vanities from its Pigeon & Poodle brand

NEW YORK — Luxury home furnishings brand Made Goods opened its new showroom in the New York Design Center to the public on Dec. 9.

The 6,200-square-foot showroom is in Suite 1600 of the 16th floor of the complex located at 200 Lexington Ave. in Manhattan. Featuring nearly 100 showrooms, the NYDC also has showrooms for other renowned home furnishings brands such as Baker/McGuire, Global Views, Decca, Hickory Chair, Lexington Home Brands, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Palecek, Sherrill, Theodore Alexander, Surya and Thom Felicia, among others.

Made Goods, which is moving from the Decoration & Design Building on Third Avenue, said the space has been designed to showcase its signature statement pieces across different categories, which include living room, bedroom, dining, occasional and office furniture. The showroom also has a dedicated space for its bath collection, which includes vanities from its Pigeon & Poodle brand.

“From unique furniture designs to sophisticated accessories, the new location provides an immersive exploration of the brand’s diverse and thoughtfully crafted collections,” the company said in announcing the new space.

Added Chris DeWitte, founder and chief executive officer of Made Goods, “We are thrilled to welcome our customers into this new showroom where they can discover even more of what Made Goods has to offer. The New York Design Center is a premier destination for design professionals, and we’re excited to be part of such a vibrant and creative community.”

The showroom joins several others in the company’s portfolio, including a space at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center, the Chicago Merchandise Mart and Arlington Heights, Chicago, as well as Dallas and West Hollywood, California. The company also has a new showroom in High Point in the Bank on Wrenn building at 203 N. Wrenn St.

The company focuses on developing statement pieces for luxury designers and boutiques, often collaborating with artisans around the world on items ranging from furniture and mirrors to lighting and decorative accessories. Pieces also can be customized according to clients’ needs and specifications.
