The company received the honor from the Great Place to Work Institute Canada, a research and management consultancy firm founded in the U.S. in 1980. It has international affiliate offices around the world and in the U.S. and produces the research for Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For List.
In Canada, the list of top employers is distributed each spring by the Toronto-based Globe and Mail newspaper.
Companies are evaluated based on feedback from employees, which helps determine the type of culture within the organization as well as the level of trust between employees and management.
