New player Renaissance Elevated Sleep Technology launches adjustable base program

MIAMI SPRINGS, Fla. ― Renaissance Elevated Sleep Technology (R.E.S.T.), a new player led by an industry veteran, has launched a five-model program of adjustable bases ahead of the summer Las Vegas Market.

And while the goods are sourced from factories in Asia, including Vietnam, under lockdown, and other areas coming under increased pressure from spikes in Covid, the company said it has in-stock availability to help drive retail traffic and sales.

“With a good stock assortment and three distribution sites in the east, south and southeast, we are able to support our partners right now, and it will only get better as the strain on the supply chain eases up,” R.E.S.T. CEO Paris Fealy said in a release.

Paris Fealy

Fealy, who launched R.E.S.T. last year, previously was vice president of sales for sleep product company Classic Brands from January 2019 to March 2020, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he was with Ergomotion for more than five years, rising to the VP of sales position. He has also held posts with brands Sealy and Serta.

The company’s five-base program offers lightweight, foldable models ranging in retail price for queen size from $699-$1,499. Other sizes include twin XL and king sizes. All models are shippable by UPS or FedEx.

It’s top model Venice offers zero clearance and wall hugger features and includes a wireless remote with three preset memory settings; functions include backrest, footrest, neck tilt, zero gravity, massage, side sleep, USB, Bluetooth, and LED light.

The starting price Primavera features zero clearance and side sleep functions in addition to the back and foot adjustability and wireless remote.

The company also said it’s offering “the most competitive shipping costs having secured freight contract rates well below the current elevated levels affecting other resources.”

Fealy launched R.E.S.T. leveraging decades of experience and relationships in mattresses and adjustable beds “to build a partner network of factories with matched capabilities to ensure consistent quality product,” the company said.

The product is sourced from Thailand, China, Taiwan and Vietnam, Fealy told Home News Now.

“We have ordered a steady stream of products and have containers arriving every month to fill our distribution centers (in Miami, Knoxville and Massachusetts),” he said. “We have been delivering from initial order to final arrival from 60-90 days.

He noted the company is paying “premier priority,” or “basically a surcharge that helps prevent being bumped.”

R.E.S.T. is not showing at the upcoming Las Vegas Market, though Fealy will be attending for meetings.
