Bed Bath & Beyond and The Brand House Collective (formally known as Kirkland’s, Inc.) announced they had entered into a merger agreement with the deal closing in early 2026. The two already had a strategic partnership with BBBY owning approximately 40% of TBHC’s common stock and TBHC converting some of Kirkland’s Home stores to Bed Bath & Beyond brand stores through an exclusive license. The first of the stores called, Bed Bath & Beyond Home, opened in the Nashville, Tenn.-area, in Brentwood, last summer. Two more opened later in the year, in Hendersonville and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The company is planning to have approximately 75 by the end of this year. In April 2026, the company announced it was buying The Container Store and began resetting the selling floors, liquidating 30% of the inventory to make room for BBBY products. The two brands will merge into a combined store concept with stores rebranded as “The Container Store + Bed Bath & Beyond”. The rollout began in May and will continue in waves.Â
