HIGH POINT — The board of directors of the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation Inc. has elected new officers and board members for 2026.
Jeremy Hoff, CEO, Hooker Furnishings Corp., has been elected board president; Gat Caperton, CEO, Caperton Furnitureworks LLC, first vice president; John Schultz, co-CEO, John V. Schultz/Levin Furniture, second vice president; Greg Avitabile, executive vice president/COO, Andmore, secretary-treasurer. Satya Tiwari, president, Surya Inc., will continue to serve on the executive committee as board chairman.
The Hall of Fame exists to honor the leaders who built this business, to recognize those advancing it today and to invest in the talent that will carry it forward,” said Hoff. “The past few years have reminded all of us what makes home furnishings special. Our board and industry are defined by creativity, relationships and ability to adapt. Even in periods of uncertainty, this category keeps doing what it has always done, which is improving lives by helping people create homes that reflect who they are. That purpose has never mattered more.”
New directors are Lance Keziah, president and CEO of Crypton LLC; and Stefani Norton, senior vice president of U.S. sales for Tempur-Sealy International Inc.
Board members re-elected to another three-year term are Hunt Broyhill, chairman of the board of Aria Designs; Karen McNeill, CEO of the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame; Michael Faus, senior vice president of Carpenter Co.; Neil Goldberg, chairman and CEO of Raymour & Flanigan Furniture; Richard Weeks, vice president of global sales for home furniture for Leggett & Platt; and
Melinda Whittington, president and CEO for La-Z-Boy Inc.
