While no incidents or injuries have been reported, the agency said the units are unstable if not anchored to the wall and also violate the STURDY Act
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced two recalls involving more than 21,600 clothing storage units sold on walmart.com that pose a tip-over and entrapment hazard.
While no incidents or injuries have been reported with either of the two units as of the April 30 notification date, the agency said they are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, which poses tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in risks of serious injuries or death to children. The CPSC said the units also violate the mandatory safety standard as required by the STURDY Act.
The larger of the two involves about 16,440 Segmart four-drawer chests which are made with particleboard and sold in black and white finishes. The CPSC said they are 15.7 inches long by 26 inches wide by 28.5 inches tall and weigh 70 pounds. The model numbers “FFLWM002BK” or “FFLWM002WE” are printed on labels on the product packaging.

Made in China and the UAE, they were sold online at Walmart.com from January 2025 through March 2026 for about $80.
The agency has advised consumers to immediately stop using the units if they not anchored to the wall and move them to an area that children cannot access. To receive a refund, they must submit a photo showing themselves disposing of the product.
Consumers seeking more information or instructions on how to identify the affected units and how to dispose of these units can email segmartdresserecall@outlook.com, or visit Segmart.com/recall-dresser or Segmart.com and click “Recall” at the top of the page.

The other recall, also announced April 30, involves 5,190 Uhomepro five-drawer chests that also were made with particleboard and sold in black and white finishes. Featuring gold handles, they are 26 inches long by 15.7 inches wide by 38.6 inches tall and weigh about 66 pounds.
Made in China, they were sold at Walmart.com from November 2025 through January 2026 for about $100.
The CPSC has advised consumers to immediately stop using the recalled units if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. To receive a full refund, they must write the word recalled on the top and all sides of the unit with a black marker and submit a photo of themselves disposing of the item to uhomeprorecall@outlook.com
