by NAPLES, Fla. — Luxury retailer and interior design destination Clive Daniel Home has named John Diaz as general manager of its new Fort Myers showroom opening this fall.
In this role, he will oversee the management, operations and direction of the new store.
Diaz has more than 30 years of industry experience, including managing showrooms for various companies throughout his career. He also has run his own stores in south Florida.
In his new position, he reports to Daniel Lubner, chief executive officer of Clive Daniel Home.
“John is a veteran in the furniture world, and he brings tremendous business and leadership experience to our team,” Lubner said. “I have complete confidence in his ability to guide our newest showroom to success.”
“His passion and wealth of knowledge are evident, but Diaz also brings an incredible dedication, attention to detail, business acumen, and transformational leadership to the Clive Daniel Home management team,” the company added of his many professional attributes. “Having worked in such varied roles and capacities, Diaz has cultivated a deep understanding and appreciation for all aspects of interior design.”
Diaz said he is very pleased to begin this next chapter of his industry career.
“If I didn’t have children, I would do this job for free,” he said. “From design to sales, I love each part of the furniture business; it never feels like work to me.”
