GhostBed featured on Today Show segment, highlights mattresses before Presidents Day Weekend

PLANTATION, Florida – GhostBed, a leading online mattress retailer and manufacturer of boxed beds, was featured on NBC’s Today Show recently during a segment highlighting mattresses in advance of Presidents Day Weekend. Two of GhostBed’s products were included as a top foam mattress pick by Consumer Reports magazine, and its holiday weekend sale was ranked as the most advantageous for consumers on the show.

During the segment, only four mattresses were featured, two of which were the GhostBed Luxe and The GhostBed (also known as the original). They were mentioned as being Consumer Reports Recommended, and the box in which it comes (the only bed-in-a-box brand) was featured onscreen throughout the segment.

GhostBed’s overall score was decided based on an array of tests and surveys including comfort score and owner satisfaction, as well as test results for side sleeper (petite/average/large), back sleeper (petite/average/large), durability and stabilization. Of the 10, GhostBed’s The GhostBed scored an excellent rating in nine of the categories and the GhostBed Luxe scored an excellent rating in seven.

“We appreciate the recognition from Consumer Reports as being one of the best buys in the foam mattress category. It was also important that both of our basic and most luxurious models were chosen, showing they valued products at both ends of the spectrum in our portfolio,” said GhostBed Executive Vice President Alan Hirschhorn. “The amount of airtime that we received, and the consumer response following the segment was really amazing.”

In addition to Consumer Reports, GhostBed was recently recognized by the leading financial services firm UBS, in a study that showed a 46-percent gain in brand awareness from 2021 to 2022.
