MLily USA is expanding its design and product development team with the addition of four designers who will focus on graphic design, product design, photography, videography, and web design.
The team will be lead by new hire Nairi Gharibian, a seasoned product design executive from the consumer-packaged goods industry. Leaning on her consumer-packaged goods experience as design manager for Munchkin – a manufacturer of infant and toddler products – Gharibian oversees the MLily USA team of cross-disciplinary designers, mentoring them through the design and development of new products and services to meet consumer needs.
Prior to her time at Munchkin, Gharibian worked at Nike and Disney designing footwear.
“We’re very fortunate to have Nairi continue to build and grow our design team,” says Stephen Chen, president of MLily USA. “She is a highly experienced product design specialist with the skills and knowledge we need to continue to develop high tech products that result in high-quality sleep. Her experience from outside the industry has proven to be extremely successful as Nairi has applied her experience in designing youth products to help with the development of our recently launched JAMA juvenile sleep line.”
Gharibian says with the expansion into the youth sleep products category, MLily USA is poised for growth.
“Being able to continue to grow our industry-leading team and help to develop strategies for not only for new products, but for our graphics, photos, videos, and website will help strengthen our leadership position in the industry as we continue to find new and innovative ways to benefit our customers.”
Chen adds that the company sees growth opportunities in the youth segment and that Nairi’s background, will help the company “continue to align our strategies to meet consumer needs not only for the youth segment but for all sleep product categories.”
Gharibian received a bachelor’s of science degree in product design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She resides in Glendale, California with her family.
