Caleb Miskelly named Miskelly director of sales

JACKSON, Miss. — Caleb Miskelly has been promoted to director of sales for the seven-store Misklley Furniture here.

Miskelly, 28,  took over the position in early August and is responsible for managing all store managers as well as the more than 80 Miskelly salespeople.

He got his start in the industry in 2015, working as a salesperson for Nebraska Furniture Mart, when the Omaha, Neb.-based retailer opened its Dallas-area superstore in The Colony. He returned to Jackson in 2018 and took a sales position at the flagship Pearl, Miss., store before being promoted to director of sales training and development in 2019.

“Caleb brings experience in the retail sector from having worked with notable retailers Nebraska Furniture Mart, Nike and Lululemon,” said Miskelly CEO Oscar Miskelly. “He will bring new energy and direction  to our sales team as well as an expanded vision of embracing new technology that will enhance our customer experience.”

Caleb Miskelly is the son of Oscar Miskelly and one of four second-generation operators in the business now. The others are Caleb Miskelly’s sisters, Elizabeth Ann Howell, buyer for EA Design/visual supervisor and Anna Katherine Miskelly, visual associate’ and Partner Tommy Miskelly’s daughter Abby Miskelly, merchandise associate.
