DETROIT, Mich. — Home News Now 125 retailer Gardner White is adding four new locations in the state in Cadillac, Gaylord, Midland and Mount Pleasant. The new stores open July 1.
The store additions bring Gardner White’s store count to 18, which the company said further enhances its “ability to provide furniture and mattresses to more customers and communities across Michigan.”

Earlier this month, Gardner White also opened its doors to GW Home, its new retail concept in the heart of downtown Detroit. The store showcases area artists and innovative local brands including Detroit-based Floyd and high-performance textile leader Crypton, “reflecting the city’s commitment to design excellence.”
“A first-of-its-kind home retail destination in Detroit inspired by the city’s creative community, GW Home merges artistry and affordable luxury furnishings, offering a curated shopping experience of stylish furniture, home décor, art and accessories,” the company said.
Gardner White recently was listed at No. 46 on Home News Now’s 125 Furniture & Bedding Retailers with estimated 2024 annual sales of $307 million.
