HIGH POINT — HCG Media — publisher of Home News Now, Casual News Now, Design News Now and Bedding News Now — has announced the creation of Lighting News Now to serve retailers, manufacturers and independent sales representatives in the decorative residential lighting market.
Lighting News Now, which will debut later this month, is the home décor industry’s only lighting publication dedicated to providing relevant news, event coverage and valuable insights that will help industry insiders stay up to date and remain competitive in today’s volatile retail environment.
At the editorial helm of Lighting News Now is Linda Longo, who has been named editor-in-chief. She has been reporting on the decorative lighting industry for 30 years as editor-in-chief of Home Lighting & Accessories magazine and editorial director of enLIGHTenment magazine.
“The residential side of the lighting business has very different needs than lighting companies that serve the hospitality and commercial markets,” she said. “Until now, there is not one resource that is exclusively devoted to providing industry news, design and product trends, and information on retail operations for members of the residential lighting industry on a timely basis.
