Legends Home launches quick-ship program

Legends Express will ship bestselling imported upholstery frames along with bedding and domestic and imported case goods within 2 weeks of the order

TOLLESON, Ariz. — Full-line furniture resource Legends Home has launched a domestic quick-ship program that allows dealers to mix its imported upholstery and case goods lines along with domestic wood furniture and bedding.

Legends Express was built around its upholstery line made in Vietnam, which was previously only container direct. Bestselling frames will now be available from the company’s domestic warehouse in Tolleson, Arizona, shipping together with bedding and imported and domestic case goods within two weeks.

Now instead of having to order a full container, dealers can mix all those categories with just a $2,500 minimum, Tim Donk, vice president of sales operations and marketing coordination told Home News Now.

The Pleasant Valley sectional is one of the frames that will be included in the new Legends Express program by Legends Home.

He added that the quick-ship program offers dealers aggressive pricing on all imports, giving them another shipping alternative in a period of volatility of container freight pricing. He added that lead times are significantly less, shipping product within two weeks compared to previous lead times of 10 to 12-plus weeks on the imports.

The program is open to dealers of all sizes, including smaller dealers that have difficulty ordering large, full-container orders direct from Asia. Larger dealers that typically order full containers also can benefit by achieving a quick turnaround on pieces they need more quickly.

“Our larger dealers will definitely use the program” said Donk, noting that the initiative is just starting and that full stock should be fully stocked just after the first of the new year.
