by MONROEVILLE, Pa. — On November 1, JMS Furniture Group proudly unveiled its newest Ashley showroom with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Located at 4680 Old William Penny Highway in Monroeville, the 26,524-square-foot facility building is the fifth Ashley store that JMS owns in the region. It will will employ about 12 people.
“The response leading up to this event has been tremendous,” said Matt Schultz, president, JMS Furniture Group. “We’re thrilled to once again bring the number one selling furniture store to the Pittsburgh area, and look forward to earning our customer’s loyalty, and becoming part of the community.”
The new store showcases Ashley’s innovative 7.0 store concept, which includes a simplified, bright and open floor plan to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Customers can browse complete lifestyle vignettes featuring lighting, rugs and wall art. Category offerings also include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners and accessories. The store also has Ashley’s new mattress gallery featuring Ashley Sleep, Nectar, and Tempur-Pedic mattresses.
During the grand opening ceremony, JMS Furniture Group presented a donation of $2,000 to Animal Friends, a local Animal Shelter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The store also will donate a portion of all sales from the month of November to the organization.
