HIGH POINT — Soundstage USA, a supplier of furniture that incorporates high-definition sound, has cranked up the volume at market unveiling 12 new collections that all feature fourth-generation, all-digital high-definition sound.
According to industry veteran Joseph Savovic, who founded the company in 2017, buyers visiting the showroom in Space 214 of the Atrium at 430 S. Main St. will see four new sofas, seven new sectionals, new recliners and lift chairs.
All of the Soundstage furniture, made in China, Vietnam and Cambodia, incorporates a patent-pending “Super-Link” proprietary technology that allows users to connect multiple Soundstage seating ensembles at the press of a button.
Savovic said that customers who buy a sectional and want to add a couple of recliners and watch/listen to the same TV show/music, etc., simply press a button on the wireless Super-Link hand control, and everything is instantly synchronized via independent volume controls.
Another benefit, Savovic said, is that the Soundstage lineup of products offers consumers much more than just smartly designed furniture with hidden audio capabilities. “About one-third of the people over 50 have some form of hearing deficiency,” he said.
“However, thanks to our Patented Aura Personal Sound Amplification technology used in all Soundstage Intellichairs, Aura lets the user hear the TV or conversations in the room from up to 25 feet away without the use of headphones or connections of any kind,” Savovic said, adding, “and at the press of a button, the Intellichair allows the user to send sound to either the left ear or right ear or both, depending on the ear that needs the extra help.”
The company also said that despite the enhancements such as the new fourth-generation, high-definition sound, the availability of new high-performance fabrics and the utilization of HR32 foam, a product often used in higher-end mattresses, it is here at the market with sharper price points, with chairs that can retail at $899 and sofas and modular sets that can retail at $2,999.
The company is also showing Dreamchaser beds that feature four high-definition speakers, two subwoofers and seamless Bluetooth connections to Smart TV and phones. Retail prices start at $999.
Savovic credited Florida-based RHM Design for their help in bringing these new items to market and confirmed that the company has secured a new distributor located in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Called Revolutionary Retail, the distributor can ship in-stock items in a window of between 48 and 72 hours, Savovic said. “Orders coming from our Asia producers will arrive in six to eight weeks, but now, our Greensboro distributor can turn in-stock items around very quickly,” Savovic said.
“The response to the line has been terrific because the furniture just looks great. Consumers don’t come into a furniture store looking for furniture that incorporates high-definition sound. They are initially attracted to the designs of our furniture and then, when they learn that the price includes integrated audio, that value added is hard to beat,” Savovic said.
