A chat with Charlie Malouf and Manny Rodrigues of Broad River Retail

In this latest episode of The Last Word, Home News Now Editor-at-Large Ray Allegrezza interviews the executives who turned their Ashley store network into one of the brand’s most successful licensees. Today, Malouf is chief executive officer and Rodrigues is chief operating officer. Together, they discuss how their aspirations for the business nearly 10 years ago turned into an evolution of the business that it is today.

“It’s kind of exciting to see those same conversations that we had back then are now not just coming to fruition, but we’re now in a second iteration of them,” Rodrigues said. “We’re building off them, and the seeds that were planted back then are starting to take shape. It’s been a really, really fun ride.”
