ORLANDO, Fla. — Nice Link Home Furnishings has hired Matt Rubin as e-commerce customer service and logistics manager, a new position for the China-based maker of upholstery and related goods.
Rubin is responsible for the efficient flow of goods from the company’s 1.5 million-square-foot factory in Haining, China to its five strategically located U.S. warehouses and customers across the country. He also oversees Nice Link’s expanding drop-ship operations. In these areas, he will work closely with Lynn McFerrin, vice president of logistics management.
Rubin also has joined the sales and marketing team to support the development and execution of key initiatives. He reports to Nice Link President Jay Carlson.
In a release, Carlson said the company is seeing “exponential growth in our e-comm and fabric warehouses for several consecutive years, and it is vital to have a strong team to navigate the supply chain challenges as smoothly as possible for our customers. Matt is an excellent addition to our veteran team.”
Rubin has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in telecommunications-production with a minor in business administration.
Nice Link Home employs 1,700 skilled workers at its Haining campus. Its operations include a fabric mill with an in-house team of international designers, cut and sew fabric and leather, and 20 lines of upholstery manufacturing serving top U.S. manufacturers and retailers among others.
